4–7 years of experience in Testing
Design robust, scalable and maintainable high-quality test solutions for functional, regression and performance testing
Translate functional requirements into appropriate feature test files and execute as required.
Strong experience of functional test automation using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber using Java or any other latest automation technology
Work with systems analysts and developers to provide enhanced test coverage.
Contribute to QA strategy.
Liaise with other members of staff as required
A strong communicator with the ability to mentor, coach and coordinate with team
Strong influencing skills and able to identify, recommend and implement changes and improvements to testing processes and approaches
Primary Experience and Skills Required:
Extensive experience in Test Automation, ideally within a .Net/C# environment.
Some programming/scripting knowledge, ideally C#, Powershell or Shell.
Good understanding of SQL Server and comfortable in using SQL.
Strong commercial experience of functional test automation using Ranorex/Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber and non-functional testing.
Mobile Testing experience
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL and Java
ISEB Foundation in software test or similar accreditation
Thorough understanding of Agile development methods
Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a small team
Acute attention to detail
Awareness of Continuous Integration
Expertise in API testing using REST Assured would be beneficial
Secondary Skills:
Testing experience with databases (sql server and no-sql databases)
Performance/Load testing using JMeter or any tool.
Working experience with tools like SoapUI, postman.
Security Testing (PEN testing)
Any real project experience for developing custom test framework.
