Role Description:
Accountable for delivering the quality and performance of large-scale, multi-platform software products that include web, API and mobile application interfaces. Focus on contributing to the development of automated Functional Integration tests and end-to-end tests through open-source test frameworks for overall system testing within an Agile environment.
Own end-to-end test strategy, analyze requirements, build test plans, design test cases and implement test automation with a focus on performance, load, and stability/resilience
Work directly with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers and Operations/Support to understand product features and use cases, review technical/product designs, and implement automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency.
Hands-on in developing custom testing tools for improving test efficiency. Active participation in the release management process.
Lead analysis for the purposes of developing test cases for websites, web applications, and infrastructure.
Ensure all areas of concern are covered in test coverage (functional, stability, safety, resilience, performance, load at scale, security, etc.)
Maintain a complete understanding and visibility of upcoming product functionality, release schedules, and dependency risks across development teams
Provides technical guidance to junior testers and other team members.

Provide input in prioritizing, estimating, and defining acceptance criteria Clearly define test strategy, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
Interact with customers on issues and provide recommendations Ability to build and maintain automated test scripts
Plan tests and strategies according to the project
Thorough and disciplined, ability to analyze a problem and weight severity of the issue. Dedicated worker skilled at collaborating in a team setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in computer science, or related field or equivalent experience
8+ years of proven experience in the software development industry, participating in team environment
5+ years of experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver using programming languages like python, C #, Java
5+ years of proven experience in testing and automating web services such as RESTful APL 3+ years of proven experience in performance testing using tools such as Apache JMeter.
2+ years of Web-application mobile testing automation experience with Appium Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C# .Net.
Experience in CI/CD technologies (e.g., bamboo, bitbucket, octopus, Maven etc.).
Knowledge or experience of other languages/tools - AngularJS, Protractor, Jasmine, JavaScript, RestAssured.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software
development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, automation, and operations
Knowledge or experience in AWS Cloud Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with Agile [Scrum]
Familiarity working in a Continuous Integration atmosphere
