Position responsibilities:
Technical and design responsibility for the automated solution test with an emphasis on ensuring the framework is scalable across multiple products that comprise NCR Atleos solutions
Work with the Engineering Manager to create a test strategy and test plans
Responsible for designing and guiding the team to implement the integration of the test automation suite into the Software Development CI/CD pipeline
Responsible for designing and guiding the team implement the Solution Integration test labs (physical and cloud)
Coach and assist the solution integration and engineering development teams
Constantly enhancing the solution testing capability and associated designs as new products and capabilities are added to the Automation test framework
Enable communications to both technical and business/Exec facing audiences
Working with team members set across multiple time zones and locations.
Basic Requirements
BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline
10+ years’ experience in the quality domain, combination of product and solution integration testing
Experience testing up and down an entire vertical from simple component/API testing, to product-level testing, system integration testing, and full end-to-end solution testing
Strong negotiation, technical leadership, and written and verbal communication skills
Maintaining and staying abreast of current technologies and trends
Demonstrated history of innovative thinking and delivery, including disruptive innovation
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of and experience with cloud technologies, for example GCP, Azure or AWS
Preferred Requirements
Background working on highly-available, high-transaction volume, fault-tolerant systems
Experience being part of customer-led user acceptance testing
Hands-on experience working with various test automation methodologies (e.g. KWDF, BDD & hybrid)
Hands-on experience of designing and implement at least one test automation framework within a large organization
Experience with some of the following test automation tools: Core Java, Robo, Selenium, JavaScript, Postman, QTP
Experience in a wide variety of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, interface, component, resilience, HA, and security testing. Able to leverage knowledge of all these types of testing while designing the automation test framework
Experience working with teams using Agile methodologies
Experience with banking/financial software is strongly preferred
