Responsibilities:
Design and develop test cases using traditional test design techniques based on Stories/Epics or functional requirements
Understand the Infrastructure from design document in order to identify the scope of required testing and implementing automation and integration into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
Performing manual testing of UI or APIs or any application that requires manual testing.
develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Python/Ruby/Shell Script with Jenkins.
Support overall QA activities such as development of Test Approach, Test Cases, and manual test execution as needed.
Works closely with application development and other technical teams to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test scripts.
Contribute to the architecture evolution of Infrastructure Test Automation Frameworks and related capabilities as part of an Agile team.
Active participant in all phases of the project lifecycle. Work with project stakeholders during project definition to help the team understand risks, dependencies, and opportunities; participate in requirements definition and review; lend subject matter expertise to projects.
Ensure on-time delivery of work including monitoring of external and internal dependencies, tracking of progress, and monitoring of project milestones.
Support the adoption of the Delivery Pipeline
Develop a basic understanding of the product being delivered
Build understanding of DTCC infrastructure principles and best practices
Works with the team to review deliverables and ensure quality and accuracy; Adheres to established rules and procedures when performing work.
Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Additional Qualifications
Hands on experience in automation scripting using Python/Ruby/Perl/Bash (any one is fine)
Knowledge of Configuration Management Tools – Ansible/Chef/Puppet (any one is fine)
Knowledge of Jenkins (CI/CD) Pipelines.
Basic Knowledge of Linux OS or any UNIX flavored OS working knowledge
Capable of working on multiple work streams concurrently in a fast-paced environment with extreme multi-tasking and context switching.
Experience with stories and defect Tracking in JIRA.
Manual testing using Postman or executions of APIs using Python, or any automation would be good.
