Responsibilities:
Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities independently.
Create traceability matrix to ensure the test coverage for all the requirements.
Identify the risks and communicate to senior stakeholders at all phases of the project.
Perform functionality, system, performance, and integration testing independently.
Perform Compatibility & Usability testing along with UI/UX.
Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect independently.
Perform retesting and regression testing when changes are made to the code to fix defects
Prepare the status report of testing activities with the help of seniors.
Updating Test Leads regularly about the progress of testing activities and take help in need
Work in multiple projects at a time in rapidly changing environment.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in testing in web and mobile applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A team player and self-starter who identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
Good understanding of software quality processes and practices.
Good understanding Software Requirements and develop the required Test Scenarios and cases maintaining traceability.
Good experience in Testing all aspects like functional, system, performance and integration, compatibility, usability testing along with UI/UX
Ability to identify the risks and communicate to senior stakeholders
Knowledge of Quality Standards like ISO, IEEE, and CMM /CMMI.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Experience in Testing –
1-2 years of experience in testing software applications
Knowledge on using Test Management tools like Jira
Bachelor’s degree – B. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
