The Test Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key duties/ responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, incorporating manual and automated testing methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise in all aspects of testing, including test planning, test design, test execution, and test automation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development and product management, to understand project requirements and ensure effective execution of testing activities.
Identify and implement best practices for testing processes, tools, and techniques to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct in-depth analysis of testing requirements and design scalable testing frameworks aligned with business objectives and quality standards.
Evaluate and recommend suitable testing tools and technologies to support the testing process and enhance overall productivity.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of testing activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to optimize testing processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing methodologies and technologies, and proactively integrate them into the testing framework.
Mandatory Skills
10+ years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing in applications deployed in cloud environments.
Proven track record in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies for complex software systems.
In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and other industry-standard testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive successful testing initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Relevant certifications in software testing and quality assurance would be a plus.
