Responsibilities:
Build the test plan, create and review the test cases for continuous improvement
Write test automation scripts
Perform manual testing
Align with requirements engineer and squad to ensure the quality delivery
Define quality standards for the squad with the support of Program Test Manager
Elaborate a clear picture about the as-is and target business processes and consults business regarding potential process changes
Have the overall application functional view to have the impact assessment clear from testing perspective
Be on top of Load and performance Testing
Perform exploratory testing as required (i.e. act as quality gate for Scrum team)
To excel in this role, you should possess:
5-10 years hands-on experience transforming a testing culture to Agile/automation
Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber/Jbehave /Specflow etc.
Good in Java programming
Experience in automation framework development e.g. Hybrid, Keyword Driven, BDD etc.
Structured and uncompromising, driving-change and leading teams throughout a complex organization
Extensive experience with Selenium Webdriver and Grid with ability to perform Peer/ Code reviews
Proven track record of leading test activities on large agile projects, coaching test activities with teams
Experience in streamlining and improving test efficiency across multiple teams
Experience in CI /CD tools like Jenkins and Team City as strategic aspiration is automated testing
Outside-the-box thinking with the ability to bring innovative ideas to the table, bringing testing to the next level aligned with industry best-practices
Detail orientation and willingness to fully understand subject domains
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Outstanding interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in order to collaborate with all levels of Business & IT
Outstanding ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team
Self driven and motivated, highly pro-active and resilient attitude - proud to take ownership and willing to go the extra-mile
Open and transparent, able to address critical issues
Proven experienced in working with standard tool suites (JIRA, HP ALM, etc.)

Desired Skills and Qualifications
Agile SCRUM certification (Product Owner or Scrum Master)
Testing related certification
Experience working with distributed teams (onsite/near-shore/off-shore resources)
Experience in banking or finance industry
