Job responsibilities:
Partnering with key stakeholders to identify critical testing paths
Work closely with product team and business analysts to understand new functionality requirements
Design, develop and execute testing scenarios that provide maximum coverage of business functions
Collaborate with technology teams to triage defects
Provide manual testing support for functionality not covered by regression scripts
Maintain and update code libraries to stay ahead of risk items and industry standards
Help train and mentor less experienced team members as well as other teams starting test automation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
7+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation
5+ years of hands on experience in building out regression suites using automation tools like Selenium or Cypress
Strong understanding of test design principles and experience in writing and maintaining test scripts using one of the programming languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.
Good understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web browsers
Experience in Software development with Agile methodology
Should have strong verbal and written communication skills with business partners and IT functional analysts in a multi-cultural environment.
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
