Collaborate with QA and test engineering teams to identify test cases/conditions that should be automated as part of system smoke or regression test suites.
Create and maintain automated test cases/sets for both smoke and regression suites.
Execute test cases, record, and analyze results, and report defects or issues using bug tracking tools. Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
Document test cases, test scenarios, and test results to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of testing activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation.
Identify, track, and manage defects found during testing.
Execute automated tests and analyze the results for accuracy and effectiveness.
Perform regression testing to verify that software changes and updates have not introduced new defects or impacted existing functionality.
Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Requires 1+ years of experience in oftware testing.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing techniques and tools.
Basic understanding of database concepts and data structures.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with collation between onshore and offshore.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
ISTQB certification or any other relevant software testing certification is a plus.
Proficiency in programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C#) for test automation purposes.
