Key Responsibilities:
The automation test engineer will be responsible for driving test automation across the test organization and delivering automation test cases.
Key responsibilities include:
Author automation test plans from requirement specifications.
Create /updated new automation test scripts for functional (features/UI etc.) and non-functional (scale, regulatory etc.) requirements.
Provide estimates for test automation activities.
Liaise with manual test engineers during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ensure that quality standards are adhered to during the development of products.
Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional automated testing.
Run functional and non-functional automated tests.
Developing new automated test systems for our products.
Ensure software is of highest quality by contributing to software products, build infrastructure and test environments
Skills and experience
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (or equivalent through experience and certifications).
5 -10 years’ experience encompassing executing test automation:
On scalable enterprise (web) applications.
Using Scale and load testing tools.
Using multiple automation test platforms, frameworks and analysis tool like Cypress, Postman, SOAPUI, LoadRunner, JMeter, SQL Server Profiler, Wireshark etc.
Working in a SCRUM team
Working in a CI environment
Using defect tracking systems (JAMA, Jira, DevOps etc.).
Using source code controls tools (DevOps, Serena, Git etc.)
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Good documentation skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Flexible working hours, some of which must overlap with the US Team Scrum & Technical meetings
