We’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer to:
• create test strategies / test automation approaches, test plan and testing scripts. maintain automation scripts and enhance existing scripts
• hands on with automated & manual testing methods for conducting multilayers testing of Desktop, Web applications, Data Services, Micro Services, Database, ETL, Cloud Service Based Application, Middleware and OS.
• lead in test automation framework maintenance
• be involved in developing custom tools and integrate with existing tools to increase engineering productivity
• comply with internal test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
• expert in complete Test and Defect management lifecycle across agile and waterfall methodologies and tools
• generate Test reports and status to be shared across multiple levels
• collaborate with BAs, PMs and developers to troubleshoot issues
Your expertise
Your experience and skills
• 8 plus years’ experience; previously held a similar testing role, for ideally 2 years within the finance sector
• proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality and accessibility
• non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability
• able to perform regression testing for project, product and PRV (Production Readiness Verification)
• proven experience in both GUI (Thick client or web based) and API automation – strong knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete
• good knowledge of .NET, SQL and Oracle Database
• familiar with Agile methodologies.
