Minimum of 8 years working experience as a Automation QA Engineer and at least 5 of those years in working with complex testing frameworks supporting automation using Java and Cucumber and CI/CD pipelines

Position Summary:
You will be responsible for a wide range of QA areas including creation of test plans, scripts, Feature files, performance plans, and automation of those into DevOps pipelines for continuous testing of high level control software platforms and applications. You will be responsible for performance and load testing using tools like gatling As a member of an agile team working with Sr. Developers, Architects, and Integration Engineers, you participate in various product development and project specific projects. You can work independently and take responsibility for testing coverage of the SDLC from test plan, reporting, and release validation. You will also coach and train others on testing best practices and standards, continuously evaluating new techniques and technologies to improve the organizations quality through a customer-centric approach
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Experienced Test/ Integration Engineer to work on our challenging market leading concepts, next generation products in India
• 8+ years of experience.
• BE/MCA or higher and proven track record in same capacity.
• Experience in End to End Testing lifecycle of product
• Knowledge of working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo)
• Hands-on experience on automation of API using Java based automation frameworks.
• Experience on BDD framework like Cucumber
• Experience in testing containerized application in Docker and Kubernetes environment
• Core JAVA / Spring Boot experience, API test automation
• Should be able to write test cases based on given requirements.
• Should be able to evaluate and write automation test scripts. Participating in improving the test automation framework
• Hands on experience with various test design techniques
• Functional as well as non-functional testing
• Test management tooling (preferably HP Quality Center)
• Representing the test competence, its values and methods within the team, being the test conscience amidst the developers
• Good command of the English language - written, verbal
• Excellent communication skills- should be able to negotiate with stakeholders.
• Due to the international project activity: Willingness to travel internationally.
• Convincing personality with strong communication skills, a fast learner, highly engaged, result-oriented, decisions and solution-oriented
• Dedicated, responsible team player with strong analytical skills, who keeps his goals in sight and is able to inspire others for a common mission
