As an Automation Test Lead, you will be a key person in development of test automation framework, design and maintenance of scripts. Responsibilities will include, leading the test automation team, training junior team members on automation tool and technology, coordinating with BSA, manual QA and development team for test automation quality & coverage.
Job requirements
• A history of leading quality initiatives including defining quality practices and test frameworks.
• Strong experience as a technical leader in test automation using Selenium and Java.
• Experience of working with AI- ML based test automation tools (Desirable)
• Proven track record of defining and leading test automation, tools, and CI/CD strategy
• Ability to quickly analyse test results and debug errors during test runs and recommend corrective action
• Effective communicator of technical concepts both verbally and in written form
Essential Functions
• Performing POCs and evaluating test automation tools
• Identifying and designing test automation framework
• Estimation of effort for automated scripts design
• Creating and maintaining automated scripts to test front-end, API’s.
• Reviewing test scripts designed by team members.
• Preparation of automation test metrics
• Requires expertise and visibility of the latest industry trends including the Automation Tools, CI/CD, AI/ML in qualifying software and hardware products.
• Spans both on-prem and cloud-based products and associated testing strategies.
• Analysing the current market trends and bring in the improvements in QA process
Education
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or master’s degree in computer science
• Demonstrated ability to lead QA initiatives across the teams.
• Overall 8+ years of experience in Quality and 5+ years of experience in test automation using selenium & Java.
