Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for development and maintenance of automated test plans for Emerson’s Oracle and non-Oracle ERP systems.
Define, implement and improve Test Strategies and Automated Test Architecture / Framework
Conduct Requirement gathering and provide Estimations
Responsible and Accountable to make sure that all Automation related issues are resolved, delivered within SLAs
Coordinate for the Hardware and software requirement for the automation testing Setups
Helps establish processes and procedures and actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement
Writing and maintaining the SOW and commitments with vendor partners.
Coordinate with the right stakeholders for issues and conduct causal analysis and resolution meetings for improvements.
Responsible for driving event-based issue management calls, reporting and Escalations
Provide leadership, mentoring and oversight of the various automation and onboarding projects through the IT PMO
Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Manager (Technical and Soft skills).
Conducts weekly / periodic meetings with each Project team assigned and updates stakeholders
Provides management reports and maintains all published schedules, meeting minutes and other documents used to communicate with the Projects and their stakeholders.
Present oral & written reports defining plans, problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
Creates a sense of belonging and ownership among team members.
At least 10+ years of overall IT Experience, should have done some projects in automation solutioning out of which 6+ years should be on automation testing and UFT. Should have implemented automation solutions with major customer with complex architecture.
At least 3+ years in a role as Supervisory, with responsibility for testing management
Thorough understanding of testing life cycle and phases, estimation techniques and tools & Reporting
Experience in managing multiple automation testing projects at once and ensuring priority of issues and risks.
Experience in Managing Oracle EBS testing and Non-Oracle Projects (Web Applications / Integrations)
Experience in managing projects involving integration from multiple edge systems
Technical Expertise / experience on web applications and architecture preferred but not mandatory
Creating, managing and disbursing reports related to the testing
Understands automation testing KPIs and Issues management KPIs and SLAs and able to perform both preparation & analysis of KPIs
Understands the prioritizes and able to escalates where necessary and prepare a risk mitigation plan
Should be able to schedule, host and run Project testing related meetings and maintain project assets.
Should be well equipped with knowledge of using MS Excel (Advanced) and MS PowerPoint & MS Project
Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
