Responsibilities:
You will work in a specific stream within the larger project. You will be working with an established team of Murex Test Analysts both in India and onshore and perform tasks linked to test design/strategy, test execution, Defect Analysis, and reporting.
You will be involved in performing Automated regression executions for regular releases and based on the capabilities shown you will also be involved in direct client-facing activities.
The automated testing platform used by the client is MXTest.
Daily tasks include:
• Perform detailed analysis of the Jiras in the scope of a particular release to determine the regression coverage required for the release testing
• Create / Participate in Runbook discussions
• Configure, execute & report the automation test cycles
• Review & Modify existing test packages or create a new test package module based on the requirement. Do thorough analysis of the need of this automation, before committing on the delivery.
• In the course of test execution, identify, analyse & provide enough & specific information to business analysts, developers and vendors to resolve defects.
• Collaborate with client base in performing requirement analysis, test scope analysis & other test activities for large projects & programs.
• Perform reconciliations of DM tables and EOD files. Analyse the breaks & provide details to Business Analysts to be able to assert the root cause
• This role is exclusively available for in-office work. It will follow a hybrid model requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.
Skills
Must have
• 5+ years of experience in QA role, ideally with exposure to automation build execution.
• 3+ years Murex & Mxtest experience
• Proven ability to pro-actively own a delivery till closure. Be able to articulate risks & issues in the delivery with possible mitigation plans.
• Aware of client mind-set & ability to think from client's perspective.
• Multitasking ability to manage Parallel runs at the same time.
• Knowledge of tools like Murex, Mxtest, Jira, GIT, Bitbucket, any SQL Client & database tool, etc.
• With Mxtest, be aware of configurations needed for commonly used test cases (Trade insertions, Events, OSP, Comparisons, etc.,).
• Experience within global markets. Strong understanding of the jargons used within the domain.
• Strong understanding of and adherence to Murex specific test best-practices is expected.
• Investigation of issues and raise JIRA Defects with required information.

• Experienced in directly working with stakeholders (client team) and able to prioritize work.

• DevOps on Murex experience
• Knowledge on any of the below is an advantage
• Murex Market Risk exposure (VAR, FRTB, MRA, etc.)
• Collateral Management
• MarkitWire interface and Mxtest Automation of MW testing
• Selenium to build automation across few java applications
