The primary responsibility of this role would be to provide strong testing leadership for our Individual Markets purchased domain and Service Delivery teams using both Manual and Automation testing. We are looking for technically strong professionals with experience in setting up Global testing teams.
The QA Architect/Manager is a senior position responsible for the Software Quality Assurance team, leading new and existing Quality Assurance initiatives, and will be instrumental in managing QA processes, driving test methods, risk analysis, resource planning and estimating for client projects.
Extensive experience designing solution architectures for an enterprise software, service virtualization, or systems integration company.
Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.
Define approach to test entire systems through test strategy and test plan documents.
Design, plan, execute, monitor, improve testing process for a testing engagement.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Oversee/ensure the quality of test plans, test cases, test matrix, and bug reporting.
Deep database (RDBMS) technology understanding with hands on experience in SQL.
The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, proven leadership skills, software development experience, deep understanding of formal QA tools, methodology/processes.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
The QA Lead drives the test strategy. The Manager/ architect sets the technical direction for the QA work and leads the testing team. He/She works closely with development and the test team to meet the quality objectives.
Establish design principles for QA efforts and Performance testing. Present options and recommendations as needed.
Design and maintain the test automation framework.
Design and architect modular and reusable testing solutions meeting quality benchmark.
Work closely with the test team to identify new automation opportunities.
Mentor the test team.
Contribute to managing of test environments.
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information.
Keep current with advances in testing methodologies and tools.
Research, evaluation, and deployment of new test tools.
Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration software.
Qualification Required Skills/Competencies:
QA professional with 10+ years software industry and management experience
Five years Manual/ test automation experience with a minimum of three years at a senior level. Demonstrated. Experience in selecting, designing, and implementing testing frameworks. Experience developing in-house automation tools will be a plus.

Expertise with continuous integration e.g.) Jenkins
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with specific experience and demonstrable success with the full software development lifecycle; and using the Agile Development processes.
Experience developing and testing entire systems, with capability to understand details mixed technologies.
Successful track record as a 'hands on' leader within QA teams, building and managing teams to a level of top-notch professionals.
Co-ordinating with the Subject Matter Experts and participating in knowledge transition sessions
Self-motivated and ability to work on his/her individual capacity
Knowledge and understanding of insurance domain is good to have
Exposure to frameworks like BDD/TDD is preferred.
Preferred hands on experience using Selenium Web driver for UI Automation and Jenkins
Experience working in a SAFe Agile methodology is a plus
