Key Responsibilities:
Ownership and accountability of the testing strategy across the Affordability systems
Being an advocate for quality and shift-left culture
Integration testing of API & end to end integration architectures
Performance & scalability testing
Support & review unit testing activities
Supplying and presenting reports when required
Producing plan(s) and estimating test requirements
Coach individuals within the Delivery team, helping them develop automation testing and evolve their technical skills
Run collaboration sessions across the Quality team, building the community and ensuring knowledge sharing across individuals
Work with stakeholders to do business analysis, write acceptance criteria and document test plans
Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:
Strong .NET Framework experience, ideally with .NET Core exposure
Writing C# unit and integration tests at all levels of an application
Creating tests against REST APIs
Understanding of automated testing frameworks
Awareness of Databases (SQL Server/SQL Azure)
Experience working in a Continuous Delivery cycle (Ideally using Azure DevOps to support this)
Ability to take a holistic view of a system and define the test strategy.
