As an R&D Engineer – Test, you will be responsible for designing use cases and test cases based on the requirements for Process Automation Business Area in Bangalore, India.
Reporting to the R&D Department Lead, you should have Knowledge on the different test techniques & test strategy between FTT/PTT.
Your responsibilities
Designing test bench and environment based on the requirements
Being responsible for automation of Test Cases and Scripting
Planning and Execution of automated and manual test cases.
Co-ordinating with various development teams for defect management and follow ups.
Supporting the test team for execution and maintenance of Automated Test cases
Driving root cause analysis for critical and most common issues found in tests and tune the automation.
Suggesting and implementing improvement actions towards improving test coverage and test environment from time to time
Your background
4-8 years of experience in Control System Deployment, Operations, HMI and Testing of Web Clients/applications
Experience and/or knowledge in Computer Networking, configurations, Cloud, Virtualization and Network Security
Experience in Control Systems / Industrial Automation Systems – 800xA, Centum, Experion, Delta V
SDLC, Agile, Defect Life cycle, Test Automation, understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Defect Management, white and black box test methodologies
Proficient with Microsoft Operating systems and MS Office. Knowledge of TFS and Application Life Cycle Management tool is added advantage
Must have problem solving skills and experience in working with globally distributed teams with good communication and coordination
