Crucial Duties and Responsibilities:
Required to learn, understand and build functional and non functional test cases from requirements, perform manual and automated QA and PV Testing for applications.
Performance Benchmarking and Scalability characterisation
Backend testing: Rest API testing automation tools
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
Identify, record, document thoroughly and supervise bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Handle multiple concurrent projects to deliver committed features on time with good quality
Prepare and present reports/metrics to Senior Management
Develop an environment of continuous improvement in software engineering practices and product quality in terms of performance, scalability, availability and flexibility
Work closely and optimally with other software development teams as well as product line management, architecture and product support teams
Required Skills:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in software performance testing, QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Hands on Experience with Linux Operating system and JIRA
Hands on Experience with Postman and similar tools for API Testing
Hands on Experience with Shell Scripts, Ansible and Python
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience with Enterprise networking technologies, network management concepts are a plus
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Should be adaptive to the processes, tools and technologies used and should chip in continuously to the improvement of self and team
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/IT/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a software automation testing role
