Core Responsibilities:
You would utilize and consume as well as maintain ( on need basis )framework, enhance and maintain test automation that is required to verify the quality of code developed , predominantly focussing on Payments Retail and Acquiring applications.
You should be able to perform functional testing on need basis.
Perform automation code review, and follow good test automation design practice, and adhere to coding standards.
Independently able to analyse functional test requirements and recommend test automation solutions.
Excellent understanding of API testing with knowledge of Web Services testing
Test cases automation using Selenium, C#, Visual studio, Java and good hands on experience of Eclipse IDE.
Root cause analysis and Debugging using logs for automation scripts.
Hands on experience on Azure or AWS is good to have.
Hands on knowledge of working with mainframe VSAM , DB2 files and writing Ezytrieves programs
Interact with internal teams and external third party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems Understand business issues and challenges, and forward plans.
Create and maintain knowledge base document of defects, common issues and processes, thus supporting internal and external clients to self-service.
Your skills & experience
Experience
Essential:
6 + years of experience in Banking Domain with minimal 3 years of test automation development in Mainframe systems.
Sound knowledge of Payments in merchant acquiring domain.
Established strong ability & experience in Java / C# test automation frameworks and tools for the technical stack
Established strong ability & experience in Web services, REST/SOAP/XML and API/Service based testing using tools such as POSTMAN
Established strong ability & experience in Selenium and Appium
Established strong ability & experience in code repository & version control tools such as Stash & Git
Established strong ability & experience in service virtualisation in a complex environment
Established strong ability & experience in setting up and/or applying test automation frameworks for large scale applications using industry standard and/or open source tools
Established strong ability & experience to analyse complex technical requirements, review architecture documents and solution design, and determine appropriate test automation approach and best engineering practices based on technical design.
Established strong ability & experience using CI toolset such as TeamCity
Established strong ability & experience and an advocate for Agile methodology, and Agile delivery toolset such as JIRA
Established ability & desire to engage and maintain working relationships with project sponsors, business stakeholders and engineering community.
Established confidence to challenge senior members of the team and stakeholders, regardless of disciplines, when required.
Effective communication skills and sound business acumen
Established confidence in presenting innovative ideas to a broad audience including technical and business stakeholders
Established strong ability & experience to learn and apply industry best patterns and practices

Demonstrable working experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and DevOps
Demonstrable working experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
Demonstrable working experience in cloud technologies and experience building cloud based applications
Demonstrable working experience in containerisation technologies and tools such as Docker
Demonstrable working experience in non-functional testing, such as performance and security testing
Experience in or exposure to mobile application development
Experience in Android or iOS development
Experience with JavaScript (Angular, React)
