As a Test Engineer, you will:
Execute test procedures and/or scripts either manually or using automated tools. You will track and report on the test execution in a timely manner with attention given to achieving a high level of quality.
Gather and document the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.
Analyze report discrepancies to determine the root cause and evaluate script failures at a high level.
Compare and analyze system behavior vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements. You will identify issues, propose system improvements and perform repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.
Participate in and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials
Expand our existing test automation framework and test coverage
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure outcomes meet business objectives and compliance standards
What We're Looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
3+ years experience as software engineer in test
Experience in combinations of:TypeScript/JavaScript VBS/VB/.NET/Java/C#/Python/Perl/Shell (At least two with proved experience)
Expertise in cloud-native applications
Experience with Agile and Continuous Delivery software development methodologies
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Experience with Golang, K8s, Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
