Job Description

Netstratum is looking for a Test Engineer (Selenium) having 2+ years of experience to design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills and passion for quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand software requirements and define test objectives, strategies, and scope.
Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automated testing using Selenium.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other related tools and frameworks.
Create reusable functions, libraries, and test data sets to enhance test automation efficiency
Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and report defects or bugs using bug tracking tools.
Perform root cause analysis on failed tests and provide recommendations for issue resolution.
Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve issues.
Set up and configure the test environment, including test data, test servers, and test databases.
Install and configure Selenium WebDriver and related dependencies.
Collaborate with system administrators or DevOps teams to ensure a stable and consistent test environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as Test Engineer ( Selenium ) or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and related tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Javascript.
Experience in test automation using Selenium, including test script development and execution.
Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
Understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
