Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand business requirements.
Set up the required test beds and create test data required for testing.
Review test cases with test lead.
Analyze, design and build test cases based on system requirements and design specification.
Attend meetings and coordination with onsite project team and development team.y
Developing and executing Manual test cases to ensure end to end quality of product.
Defect Reporting, Co-ordination with Development team, Defect logging, Defect tracking.
Debug the defect and classify to the module.
Help developers root cause and resolve issues.
Follow set testing process and ensure compliance.
Provide execution and summary reports according to project requirements.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent from reputed institutes 3+ years of experience in testing. Preferably in system integration testing
Experience in Embedded or Mobile Testing - Preferably both
Hands on experience on HPQC or any Defect Management tool - For e.g. JIRA / Bugzilla
Experience in agile testing
Embedded Testing, Mobile Testing, System Integration testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, API
Testing, HP Quality Center / Jira / Bugzilla, HP Agile, Soap UI, IBM Rational tools
Strong analytic skills and logical reasoning/problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
ISTQB (Foundation) or CSTE certification
Knowledge in SQL scripts
Experience in calling APIs using clients for example like Postman, SoapUI, jMeter
Basic knowledge of NoSql databases (KVP DBs, Json DBs,..)
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a collaborative environment
Proven professional experience and current expertise in emerging channels, web based services and/or mobile services for electronic product lines
Desired Skills:
Good to have knowledge in handling the project.
Good to have knowledge in water domain.
