5+ years’ experience in testing web-based and Desktop products/projects.
Ability to work in a team and challenging environment.
Knowledge of different types of testing and testing strategies.
Understands the SDLC, Agile/SCRUM concepts and software release cycle.
Knowledge of stress and performance testing desirable. Should possess hands on experience on Cyara for IVR testing, Lean functional testing (Lean FT), Unified Functional Testing (UFT)
Knowledge of automation tool (selenium or Qtest) is required.
Working knowledge of TFS/Jira,
Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
Excellent Team Player skills
Should have built automation framework/library from scratch.
Knowledge on Genesys voice, e-services (Email) interaction flows on high-level would-be a plus.
Qualifications:
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Identifies test cases and creates or updates test case documents with assistance from core engineering team.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Executes test cases, identify bugs, evaluate bugs with appropriate priority and severity, and report bugs.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Identifies the gap between the function specifications and implementation.
Understands the functionality of the entire product and takes ownership of the hot fixes allocated to him/her for testing.
Provides recommendations for enhancing product features.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
