Responsibilities:
Design and execute test cases and scenarios for websites, web applications, and APIs, utilizing your sharp common sense and technical knowhow.
Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects, usability issues, and potential areas for improvement.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand requirements and provide valuable feedback during the development lifecycle.
Clearly document and report identified defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure their resolution.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in web development and testing, and apply that knowledge to enhance our testing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Engineer, specifically in testing websites, web applications, and APIs.
Strong knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Selenium or Cypress.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and apply common sense to testing scenarios.
Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and an eye for identifying subtle issues.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to work from our office location and collaborate with team members on-site.
Flexibility to work in shifts, as some projects may require testing during non-traditional hours.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively articulate issues and collaborate with team members.
