Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
To analyze and understand new and existing software components and requirements
Gathering test requirements and producing test specifications
To prepare a test Scenarios to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results.
To conduct testing in systematic manner & in the preparation of test Cases.
Manual execution of tests, recording of results, investigation and logging of faults
Maintaining relevant test results databases
To ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release & to review the test execution
To report the defects.
To ensure creation of test data
Familier with AGILE Principles and concepts
Skills we can’t do without:
Experience of testing :
WEB APPLICATION
WINDOWS APPLICATION
API TESTING (Using POSTMAN)
MOBILE APPLICATION TESTING
ORACLE & SQL Knowledge to create/modify Test data and monitor DB Logs
Excellent working knowledge of Unix. Exposure to Flat file structure on AIX will be added advantage
Detailed knowledge of Manual Testing. Explore to automation testing will be addtional advantage (Selenium Web Driver)
Simulator Knowledge (VTS/ Master Card Simulator/ JBOSS will be additional advantage
Skills we’d like:
Test case creation and validation
Test data and setup creation
Experience of testing Windows Software Applications / Database applications produced using .Net, Cobol , VB, C#, , SQL Server, Oracle
Excellent working knowledge of Unix. Exposure to Flat file structure on AIX will be added advantage
Is able to absorb rapidly and apply effectively, new technical / business information as required.
Good understanding of test methodologies and processes
Ability to create automated test scripts
Experience of testing real-time application software
