Responsibilities
• Experience with manual testing as well as test automation
• Automation testing using .net & automation testing suite like Selenium and Playwright
• Strong in DB testing & SQL
• Manual testing
• test case development
• Working closely with your team you will safeguard the quality of all aspects of the teams deliveries.
• Execute Risk Assessments and derive effective test coverage following ISTQB guidelines
• Create effective functional and non-functional test cases based on the risk assessment and take ownership of all aspects required for their execution such as
• Building a representative test environment
• Compiling and managing effective test data for all scoped tests
• Update impacted regression tests and select the right set for execution
• Create new automated testcase both within an existing framework and newly built solutions and take ownership for the execution and maintenance of the same.
• Troubleshoot and identify complex issues and take ownership for ensuring their resolution Knowledge and Experience - Essential
• Experience in preparing Test Plans/Test Strategies/Reports.
• Database skills with hands-on experience in SQL.
• Experience with defect management and tracking tools preferrable azure board
• Experience with installing software builds/Configuration
• Experience in code check in and branching using version control systems preferably Git
• Experience working in Agile Technologies
• Should have strong experience on .Net, and C#.
• Should have familiarity with Accessibility Testing tools.
• Should have strong experience on browser compatibility testing.
• Familiarity with Postman, Build Pipelines (Team City or Azure Pipelines).
• Familiarity with Docker containers.
• Playwright Testing
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end testing scenarios using Playwright.
• Should have strong experience on Design Patterns to reduce the total runtime.
• Should have familiarity with Accessibility Compliance and include that in Testing Framework.
• Should have a detailed understanding on Test reusability.
• WireMock
• Should have working experience on API mocking and simulation using WireMock to facilitate isolated testing of components.
• Maintain and update WireMock configurations to align with evolving project requirements.
• Should have experience on different Distributions models of Wiremocks.
• Should have experience on WireMock on Docker.
• Should have experience on WireMock as a standalone server
• Should have experience on difference use cases such as stubbing, templating, record and play, etc.
Knowledge and Experience - Desirable
• ISTQB/ISEB qualifications.
• Knowledge of Virtual Machines
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarization with IP networking and Active Directory
• Hands on coding experience in any software development or scripting language
Education - Desirable
• Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering
