Planning testing activities like User Acceptance Testing, Automation Testing, Exploratory testing etc. for assigned tools
Should be able to manage, install and maintain the hardware components
Should have handson experience on LinuX, Shell scripting, managing AWS S3 buckets
Test execution, reporting and recommendations
Well verse with Software Life Cycle and should be able to get the stakeholders onboarded for test practices
Reviewing Quality Assurance reports, estimating and developing testing strategies
In depth understanding of domain Specifications along with Technical Know How about Processes
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
Design automation frameworks for all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Design and develop automation scripts with various test automation tools like Selenium and Robot Framework
Well verse with programming language like python, Java
Build automation libraries supporting the test automation tool / framework with the objective to improve the testing process
Author, code, execute, and debug integration and acceptance test cases that execute locally and within a CI infrastructure and/or container.
Collaborate with cross functional groups including Software Development, Operations Engineering, Software Launch and Software users to create and execute test matrices (test scenarios and test cases) based on software requirements and tool functionality
Balance cost of automation vs benefit and future maintenance costs.
Who are you?
Bachelor’s degree (3/4 years - professional college: Technical / Engineering streams) with major/minor in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science/ Engineering or related science/technology field
5+ Years of experience with mapping technologies, GIS software and concepts
6+ Years of experience in various test and defect management tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Zypher etc.
6+ Years of experience in various test automation frameworks like Robot, Selenium, QTP, AutoIT etc. is required
6+ years of experience in manual testing software tools and workflows / processes
Ability to solve complex test automation tasks beyond standard capabilities of test automation tools
Experience with load and performance testing.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java or Python.
Knowledge of HTTP, REST services, HTML, CSS and JavaScript required.
Hands on experience on Java with Eclipse and Maven is required
Demonstrable experience in JMETER, JUnit, TestNG, CI (Jenkins), SOAP/REST testing Knowledge
Experience with shell scripting and version control systems.
Experience using CI/CD build systems, e.g. Jenkins or Gitlab.
Experience with load and performance testing
Hands on experience on automation of Web based and windows desktop-based applications
Proficient Knowledge of testing related metrics and standard practices
Desired testing certifications viz. ISTQB, CSTE, CP-SAT, CP-MAT etc
