A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 5-10 years work experience.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle models and good understanding of Agile project management principles and practices.
Experience in system setup with CPU, memory, storage and network cards, PSU, HDD, etc
Familiarity in Firmware upgrades/downgrades and server lifecycle management.
Sound knowledge on Server Domain, knowledge about BMC, Option cards such as Storage, Networking and GPU would be plus.
Expertise in Software and Firmware Manual Testing including Testing concepts such as Testing methodologies, SDLC & STLC, Defect Reporting, Test Plan, Test cases and Test Strategy creation etc.
Strong Programming/Scripting knowledge – Preferably Python, Robot Framework for feature Automation.
Good understanding about industry standard protocols such as Redfish, IPMI, SNMP, SSH, Webserver and Web GUI would be add on.
Expertise in handling validation of Software tools and automating the same using python scripting language.
Good Attitude, Communication skills and problem-solving analytical skills.
An understanding of datacenters, servers, storage, and networking concepts
Experience in designing and determining test strategies, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.
Penchant for test automation for the product and end-to-end customer scenarios.
