• Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful testing plans and recaps that drive product decisions.
• Designs new testing methods and resolves routine and non-routine technical issues with minimal assistance
• Analyze and develop test cases that exercise the entire functionality of the SATS and VIA applications mobile apps and websites.
• Thoroughly document issues found, assign proper severity, and drive resolution
• Execute regression tests prior to deployment of software
• Perform manual testing as needed
• Integrate automated testing solutions into continuous integration pipelines
• Drive resolution for issues identified by accurately documenting, assigning proper severity, and providing recommendations on priority.
• Prepare recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential QA related issues.
• Provide recommendations on areas that will benefit from automated testing.
• Have a customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that is centered around a great user experience.
• Document Test Cases for Manual or Automated Testing.
• Help build and maintain high team morale.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, business, or equivalent technical degree (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of testing experience on a production-released software system.
• Demonstrated experience delivering highly effective automated testing solutions using Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testing.
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details and analyze changes in software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience reporting bugs in tools like Jira.
• Experience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make progress while managing multiple QA projects.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience testing Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Script and tool writing experience to aid in test suite execution.
• TestRail Experience.
• Browser stack Experience.
• Mobile development and UI testing experience.
