We are seeking an experienced and proactive Test Lead to join our dynamic software development team. The Test Lead will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, guiding a team of testers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test planning, execution, and team coordination.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and timelines.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Team Management:
Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
Distribute testing tasks among team members and ensure efficient use of resources.
Test Execution and Oversight:
Coordinate and oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and critical path.
Defect Management:
Implement and manage defect tracking processes, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution of issues.
Collaborate with development teams to facilitate effective communication and resolution of defects.
Test Automation:
Evaluate and implement test automation strategies to increase testing efficiency.
Collaborate with automation engineers to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Reporting and Communication:
Provide regular test progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and findings.
Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and other team members to address testing-related concerns and ensure alignment with project goals.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
Qualifications:
6-8 Years of Experience
Working with multiple internal IT organizations and external suppliers, virtually and across different geographies. ·
Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and delivery processes (including waterfall and agile methodologies). ·
Broad experience and deep knowledge in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques, and tools. ·
Good understanding of defect & testing tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
Good exposure to Bug Life Cycle and Automation Framework.
Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing (e.g., 1 or more Saucelabs, Appium, Selenium, & Jenkins) along with automation framework definition.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with test management tools and test automation frameworks.
Experience in testing and automation in agile and continuous delivery models
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Technical curiosity and desire to innovate
Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Responsible to communicate across the testing community and development teams; Sharing knowledge via training session.
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding testing progress and timelines by providing testing reports and metrics.
Experience in tools and testing methodologies for API, data, load testing.
Experience in AWS (understanding of AWS services like SQS Queue, Lambda functions, S3 etc.)
