We are looking for an experienced Test Lead to manage SAP test activities in the APJ region. The primary focus is to ensure all test setup, test processes, data acquisition, triage management and reporting processes are available during a test cycle. This role requires strong project management, business analysis, and collaboration skills, as well as strong knowledge of test management concepts.
Responsibilities:
Work with Release Management, Test Planning and Region Functional Managers to coordinate and track regional test scope for all releases.
Partner with regional business experts and data owners to develop a comprehensive regional test plan to report status and issues.
Partner with WW and Region Master Data teams to identify appropriate data to support e2e / discrete test scenarios.
Execution of automated test scripts to obtain transactional data for test case validation.
Ensure proper test scenario / test step setup in HP testing tool.
Develop and lead daily test step execution plans with Region Functional Managers
Work with test automation team in identifying test scenario / test steps to improve test efficiencies.
Providing status, issues, blockers, and requests for support
Identify and escalate potential concerns related to test execution and recommend viable solutions.
Forecasting resourcing and staffing needs and effectively using all available resources.
Responsible for testing oversight in SAP, CDAX, Olympia, HPPS and Partner team.
Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree; advanced university degree preferred.
PMP/PMI certified preferred.
Typically, 10+ years of applicable experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge and proficient use of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of test engineering
Advanced knowledge and subject matter expertise for HP testing tools, test automation, and software packages
Strong SAP MM/SD/WM/FICO functional knowledge, preferably CS supply chain business acumen
Strong MS Dynamics functional knowledge, preferably CS business acumen
Strong analytical skills and the ability to move forward with incomplete information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to make difficult, complex decisions under significant time pressure.
Strong leadership skills and effective negotiation and influence skills
The ability to maintain good communication skills, including the ability to listen.
Ability to generate enthusiasm, commitment, and alignment.
