Job Description

Role:
Participate in the Testing of OneShield Enterprise Solution, focusing on end-user requirements, process compliance, technology, industry, and OneShield best practices and standards.

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage QA aspects of the projects like Test planning, Test execution, and Test deliverables
• Must be well-versed in smoke, regression, functional, and performance Testing
• Able to implement and maintain QA metrics, test reports to stakeholders
• Able to implement QA processes, Jira Methodologies, Agile Methodologies, and release Engineering processes.
• Efficient in handling backlog management and helping Project Manager in setting a release scope
• Expert in driving the automation needs of a project using the BDD framework
• Must be proficient in handling a team of 3-5 resources.

Desired Technical Skills
• Experience in both Automation and Manual Testing
• Well versed with P & C insurance domain. Any recognized P & C Insurance certification is desirable.
• Experience in Testing microservices-based application and containerized applications is preferred
• Understanding of Automation scripting using Java, JavaScript & Cucumber (BDD framework)
• Experience in DB Backend and Web services API Testing
• Experience in Java or any other Object-Oriented Programming Language is preferred.
• Must be proficient in release engineering of cloud-based applications.

Desired Business Skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good logical and analytical skills
• Must be well-versed in software processes and methodologies
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience is preferred
• Able to mentor Junior resources and able to lead a team of 3-5 resources and delegate work effectively
• Experience in Zephyr for test case management and Jira for defect management
• Must be proficient in Agile Project Management
• Actively contribute to and participate in knowledge-sharing ceremonies, such as technical workshops, brown bags, and hackathons

Experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience in testing.
