We’re looking for a Tech Software Engineer in Test to:
be responsible for planning and executing test activities inclusive of functional and non-functional testing
lead a team of QA engineers to ensure test activities occur as per planned
articulate test progress effectively and proactively identify ‘go to green’ plans when needed
maintain and enhance automation frameworks for testing the department's systems globally
have a ‘shift left’ attitude striving for quality requirements / design artifacts before test activities start
liaise with multiple stakeholders at all levels including international locations
comply with the test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans for all stages of testing
Your expertise
previously held a Test Lead role, for ideally 8-10 years preferably within the financial services sector
knowledge of HR shared service platforms such as Oracle Fusion HCM, PEGA, Service Now or similar and testing experience in a senior role capacity
full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
experience with Test data identification & creation
exposure to test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Centre)
proven delivery of performing functional testing to assess for accuracy, suitability, interoperability, functionality and accessibility; and non-functional testing to assess for security, reliability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and portability for both agile and waterfall approaches
prior experience of managing a test team and ensuring accountability of delivery against milestones
good expertise in UI and API automation using Selenium, Hybrid or BDD framework
hands-on using technical skills on multiple tools including LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium, Tosca, SoapUI
assists/writes high level test strategies with input from the Dev Lead and/or business and derives time estimates
fully skilled at creating, owning and implementing test approaches for particular projects
fully competent at testing in Agile Scrum, including agile test techniques such as in-sprint automation, exploratory test etc.
help the team and stakeholders understand and implement Scrum practices
a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
