8+ years of experience in testing for Data Analytics / ETL
Should be well versed with SQL queries, should understand and write test scenarios/cases for requirements
Responsibilities:
Identify issues in requirements, functional specifications, design/interface specifications, application architecture and product documentation
Develop Test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints and prepare traceability for the test cases
Perform functional and technical test execution activities as per testing engagement level in the project.
Execute test cases as per the execution plan, ensure timely completion with quality delivery
Document software product defects and track it to closure.
Develop skills on the automation tools & techniques
Develop automation scripts for the enhancements as applicable for the application & project
Verify test Environments, perform sanity health check on daily basis and report issues before commencing testing for the day.
Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements and to devise test execution plan

Should be able to device scope and approach for testing a requirement
Should be able to present it to the PO and SM and get it approved
Business
Understand the business requirement clearly & Raise clarifications as applicable
Identify Regression impact & ensure its working as expected
Identify suitable data sets for the test cases under execution

Log software product defects and track it to closure
Adhere to the company’s compliance policy
Follow the Organisation’s QA process, Testing standards & Controls
Ensure test cases, evidences are all available in Test Management tools
People & Talent
Demonstrate team work and collaborative efforts always
Assist the Test Manager / Test Lead in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
Risk Management
Should be able to highlight and escalate risks/impediments to the SM
Governance
Constant communication and follow-ups with various stake holders to track deliverables during test planning, preparation and execution phases as applicable.
Send out daily status report with accurate execution and defect metrics to SM for the agreed cut off time set for the application release/project
Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
