Responsibilities:
Understanding the product functionality and preparing the setup for the device under test
Drafting test cases to verify the product functionality and maintaining test plans and approvals
Test code development, executions and reporting
Working closely with developers to understand the implementation and reporting the bugs

Your background
Bachelor's degree in B.E or B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Instrumentation
Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in Substation automation protocols like IEC61850, Modbus, DNP3.0 and IEC60870-5-101/104
Familiarity with functionalities of existing ABB products like 615 series, 640 series, and ABB tools like PCM600
Knowledge of Test automation tools and scripting languages like Robot Framework, Test Complete, and Python is desirable
Should be able to configure and test IED in protection and communication aspects
Exposure to Protection Relays and configuration tools
Exposure to working with secondary injection kit like Dobble, Omicron etc
Experience with test management tools and version control systems
Knowledge of software development methodologies and software testing best practices
