Job Summary:
You will create test cases, test plans & other test artifacts in addition to executing test cases, triaging defects & also keep lead & team updated with progress. Performing analysis of business requirements & system specifications in this role will be critical. In addition, you will provide specific details on issues; working with UAT managers & other UAT leads to track & verify resolution of issues.

Has good understanding on testing fundamentals
Strong Testing knowledge
Has good handle on testing fundamentals
Has exposure to waterfall and agile practices and terminologies
Should have exposure to Automation script development skills
Good to have Selenium skills to develop and maintain test scripts/ VB scripting, Excel Macros/ QTP/UFT
Good to have ALM and JIRA knowledge
Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies when needed
Act as a key contributor in the continued project delivery and
Effectively manage multiple streams of work and to deliver in a timely manner
Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision, adapting quickly to new technologies
Ability to quickly comprehend project goals/requirements, identify gaps/omissions and testing challenges/impediments
Ability to deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation
Help team resolve queries
Demonstrate understanding of formal software test design techniques
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) on both a technical and business level
Demonstrate ability to gather and understand requirements
Utilize good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA process and test methodologies
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g. B.Sc., B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)
2+ years software testing experience with manual and automation testing
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Experience creating test plans, test scenarios, test scripts & defect management required.
Experience using various Testing Tools (QTP, UFT, Selenium, etc.) are good to have
