As a Testing Engineer/pilot, you will lead the efforts of field testing of Asteria’s Unmanned Aerial System products & will provide all system support.
Your role & responsibilities will be testing, fault finding & troubleshooting and validation of all R&D/new product development.
Your other role will be to develop flight test plans, conduct flight tests of the UAV/Drones as the test pilot, and support other field-testing efforts as required.
You will also lead flight activities for client demonstrations.
You will work closely with other product development engineers on the team to take Asteria’s products through field tests.
Specific Responsibilities:
Plan and execute flight test plans for the newly developed UAVs/Drones.
Troubleshoot and debug any components of a drone in the office or in the field.
Maintenance of Air vehicles – keep the fleet ready for flight tests.
Flight test & evaluation of prototypes & final production units.
Close coordination with System Engineer and Integration Engineer for timely completion of testing activities.
Participate in defining and validating customer workflows and enhancing User experience.
Participate in POC/Trial/Demo at customer location.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Diploma/Other applicable engineering field.
Relevant Experience: 0-2 Years/Fresher
Desired Skills & Characteristics:
Complete understanding of the system.
Knowledge of RC aircraft/UAV/Multirotor dynamics, control & flight operations.
Find solutions to issues and fix them.
Repair/maintenance/resolve issues on prompt time.
Documentation for system testing & other repairing works.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Familiarity with UAV platforms, like, Pixhawk, DJI, Ardupilot and PX4.
Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work hands-on with electro-mechanical systems including assembly, disassembly, testing, troubleshooting.
