6 to 10 years proven functional test experience (API testing, DB Testing and Unix testing)
Proficient in automation testing – Selenium – Java coding
Knowledge of UNIX, SQL is must.
Experience in Automating software using Selenium
Technical Orientation bachelor’s degree minimum, Master preferred
Working knowledge of Relational Database (RDBMS) technology with good administration experience in Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle.
Agile Certification is preferrable.
Dispute or Case Management System experience is a plus.
Experience in payments domain is a plus.
Hard and Soft Skills:
Able to create and execute accurate test cases – manual as well as automated.
A keen eye for details is necessary for anyone in the testing arena.
Pragmatic and strong analytical mind.
Technical mindset
Good planning and organisation skills.
Familiar with agile and Iterative development methods.
Commitment to pursuing a continual improvement of IST software quality.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Tools knowledge:
Soap UI, Selenium
Database – Oracle, Postgres databases knowledge is must.
Windows and Linux operating systems
Test management tools (test rail, Jira, Rally, version control software, etc)
Good with SQL queries, have good hand on Oracle, DB2, Postgres databases.
Qualification: BCA/BSC/BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech (Information Technology computer).
Responsibilities:
Manual Testing – Functional Testing (Unix testing, DB Testing and API testing)
Automation Testing – Prepare and execute automation scripts.
Review and analyse system specifications.
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
Evaluate product code according to specifications.
Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors
Help troubleshoot issues.
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
