Position Summary: The person in position will be responsible for doing manual/ automation testing for next generation telematics platform, develop & maintain test scripts and drive automation test strategy for platform.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The person in position will be responsible for module lead activities and futuristic team lead
Job Responsibilities:
Automation framework concept development for telematics Domain
Automation strategy development for API validation, Overall System validation and Software level Validation for telematics domain.
Provide architectural and technical support on developing Automotive Framework.
Develop and maintain test scripts in python.
Development and maintenance of tools for Test Automation to improve efficiency and quality.
Tests software designs and code to ensure automated tests meet program requirements.
Should have Experienced in testing automotive Sub-Domains: CAN, Diagnostics, Cyber Security, ECU flashing, Infotainment, Telematics.
Should have Experienced in application and system level testing.
Knowledge on automotive cyber security is must
Should have good experience in Verification & Validation Techniques.
Responsible for creating and executing test plans for design verification, software qualification testing, and compliance testing on systems that include platform
Work with both a local lead and remote teams on debugging issues
Responsibilities also include working with design engineers to analyze and troubleshoot problems, interpreting different specifications and product requirements, organizing test results, compiling and presenting test reports, and logging defects into the defect tracking system
Preferred Qualifications:
Total 6-9 years of experience in automotive or similar domain with atleast 2 years of experience in Telematics/Infotainment domain.
Proficiently to analyze system & technical requirements and develop test cases
Good work experience in testing Common API’s, DBUS, IPC and SomeIP.
Coding experience in C++ / Python.
Experience with Test management tools, Test Automation tools, and Project Management tools
Test Telephony domain on IMS and profile testing.
Experience with CAN related testing, eSIM, Cyber Security and diagnostics is a plus.
ASPICE knowledge will be an added advantage
