As a Mobile and Automation Testing Engineer at InnoWave, you will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the functionality and performance of our mobile applications. You will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for our mobile applications on various platforms. Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and feature specifications.
2. Design and develop test cases and test plans for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
3. Execute manual testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
4. Create and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
5. Perform regression testing to validate software quality after code changes.
6. Identify and report software defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
7. Ensure the compatibility of mobile applications with different devices and operating systems.
8. Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance overall efficiency.
9. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing and automation.
3. Strong knowledge of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
4. Experience with automation testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
6. Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and their specific testing requirements.
7. Conduct Postman and API testing to ensure the integrity of web services and APIs.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
11. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
12. Candidates with STB (Set-Top Box) and OTT (Over-The-Top) experience will be given preference.
