5+ years of Quality Assurance experience
5+ years of ETL Processes/ Data Warehouse Testing experience.
Hands-on experience in ORACLE database technologies
Strong expertise in ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripting
Proficient in defect tracking/Quality assurance tools such as ALM and JIRA
Knowledge of automated testing is a plus.
Financial domain experience is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of business and attention to detail
Competent technical skills
Ability to work in a team and individually.
Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
Reviews requirements and specifications, and defines test conditions
Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to predetermined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes
Experience in preparing Test Strategy, developing Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverable
Analyses and reports test activities and results
Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with own work
Relational database experience covering writing queries, manipulating test data through SQL statements
Proven experience in testing following Agile/Scrum methodology
Writing SQL queries including complicated joins to verify proper mapping of data elements
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
