Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Testing Lead with a minimum of 8 years of expertise in software testing and quality assurance preferably having experience in core billing modules. The ideal candidate will lead our testing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by implementing effective testing strategies and processes.

Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide leadership to the testing team, guiding and mentoring team members.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
Test Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans based on project requirements and timelines.
Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure testing milestones align with project goals.
Test Execution:
Oversee the execution of test plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Ensure that testing activities are completed on time and within scope.
Test Automation:
Lead the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and scripts.
Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and test coverage.
Defect Management:
Implement effective defect tracking and management processes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues.
Quality Assurance Processes:
Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards.
Conduct regular reviews of testing processes to identify areas for improvement.
Test Metrics and Reporting:
Define and track key testing metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing processes.
Provide regular status reports to stakeholders on testing progress and results.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and address concerns.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and technologies.
Provide training and guidance to team members on new testing methodologies.

Requirements:
Education:achelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a testing team.
Technical Skills:Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Leadership Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem Solving:Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex testing challenges.
Proven track record of implementing effective testing strategies.
Adaptability:Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
Willingness to stay updated on the latest developments in testing and quality assurance.
