Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans, ensuring their accuracy and relevance.
Execute testing procedures on new features, identifying and documenting defects promptly.
Leverage expertise in Big Data testing, specifically testing Java-based ETL jobs and transformation logic in dataflow pipelines.
Enhance and manage the automated test framework and test environments to optimize efficiency, including tool sizing, configuration, setup, and implementation.
Conduct various testing types, including exploratory tests, supporting UATs, functional, manual, and performance tests.
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in software quality testing, with a strong emphasis on Big Data testing and ETL testing.
Proficiency in testing Java applications, particularly in the context of data transformation logic and ETL jobs.
Experience in automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, including tool sizing, configuration, setup, and implementation.
Knowledge of Big Data testing methodologies, with a focus on dataflow pipelines written in Java.
Desirable, but not mandatory: Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform), DBT (Data Build Tool), and Dataproc.
Demonstrated expertise in working within Agile environments, adapting testing strategies to suit iterative development cycles.
