Responsibilities:
Create test plans, create/execute test scripts, document defects, participate in defect triages and ensure test Environment readiness for upcoming testing
Support automation of testing; identify external testing dependencies, create short term and long term plan to make testing team more autonomous
Work with Technology and Business teams to derive new functional requirements or modify existing ones
Review business requirements and create appropriate test strategy, plans and use cases aligned with the requirements
Drive end-to-end testing of feature functionality and user experience
Coordinate functional changes with automation team and maintain test data for automation scripts so automation suite is evergreen.
understanding of common defect management tools, the ability to write automated tests, understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skill
3+ years of work experience with Quality Assurance and extensive knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance methodology
Experience executing automation test cases and working within a test automation framework
2+ years of consumer banking/credit card experience or related industry experience
Experience using bug, defect and issue tracking software like Jira, HP ALM / QC, etc.
Experience with functional testing automation tools and technologies (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Junit), as well as databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and DB2
Experience with API (Application Programming Interface) test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman) ,Java and JavaScript
Bachelor's Degree preferred
