Responsibilities:
The individual will be responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of a UAT organization including creating Automation Test Strategy, creating and managing an automation framework, converting and executing new manual test scripts for multiple projects into automated test scripts, maintaining and executing existing automation scripts and generating test metrics for both manual and automated tests. The person will also be responsible for adhering to the vision, strategy, & automation goals documented for the UAT organization and working with manual and automation testing resources with regular communications, support, feedback, and performance guidance.
Work with UAT Test manager for setting automation priorities
Create and manage an automation framework
Develop and nurture key relationships with critical stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, manage expectations and deliver quality results
Demonstrate leadership skills.
Problem solving skills – Ability to scope complex problems and apply analytical and automation tools in order to develop solutions
Change Management skills – Ability to adapt and be flexible; must be able to manage risks and issues as they arise
Client management skills – Ability to collaborate and closely partner with peers and stakeholders on initiatives to ensure successful testing integration
Resource management – Ability to work with onshore/offshore resources as well as a mix of FTE and Contract staff. Ability to plan and forecast resources to meet demand and shifting priorities
Process improvement skills – Ability to leverage automation, process re-engineering or other tools to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 3+ years of hand on experience in creating and managing an automation framework
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation of front end and backend applications
Minimum 3+ years of hands on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber
Strong knowledge of API testing
Working Knowledge of Jira and Test metrics
Working Knowledge of Scrum Framework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work in challenging shifts
Knowledge of Credit Cards operating model is a plus
